Apperance
Beluga whales are considered a small type of whale. As adults they are white, however as young belugas they are a bule- brownish red color. They have small blunt heads, small beady eyes, thick layers of blubber, flukes, a single blow whole, a round melon, jaws with 34 pointed teeth, grow to be 15 feet on average and about 3,300 pounds.
Unlike most other whales, the beluga has a flexible neck that enables it to turn its head in all directions.
